Investigation:

This week I did my investigation on video game start-up screens since I am creating my video related to a video game. I chose to do research on this topic because I had previously created a "load-up" screen at the beginning of my video, but I felt like it looked too plain, so I wanted to make something that wouldn't look as simple. I began by searching up some images on google for some inspiration:

All of these load-up screens have a pretty retro look to them which is something that I found to be satisfying about them. To gain some more inspiration, I wanted to see a start-up screen in video form and came across this video on youtube:

This short video is basically an animation of what a person may see on a screen when they first start up a video game. I found this to be fascinating and wanted to make something similar like this in my video. However, to do this, I wanted to have an idea of how someone would make this using after effects. I decided to search up a tutorial and found a video of someone creating something similar:

The guy in the video goes through a step by step guide on how to create the animation, which was exactly what I wanted. However, instead of following his tutorial, I am going to use his video as a reference to create something of my own.
